I loved this book. I think I cried over each and every page. Certainly not a book for everyone! I happened across it at a very reduced price. And like Gretchen Rubin says in The Happiness Project, I read this book to "remember the fragility of the simple good times, but also to be inspired that people can survive the most terrible tragedies."
I believe we all have wondered how we would react if the unthinkable happened. And the unthinkable happened to Ann Hood. She lost her daughter to a rare strep infection and survived. Writing this book is her gift to us.
